Welcoming the year of Rooster, Mondial was giving away a year-end souvenir calendar for their loyal customers. Not only to create an iconic keepsake that people would happily put in their table, but the brief was also to include information and bring good-day feel about every aspect in life; from marriage, business, dealing, and others.

The main considerations in designing this calendar was to make sure that people can read the wording clearly, and that the Chinese horoscope characters can be incorporated in an elegant way. It is our commitment to always pay attention to every minuscule detail in every project and turn it into something tangible, which in this case we created artsy illustrations of the Chinese characters that can be put into detailed finishing.

The paper and printing methods are carefully selected to ensure that every fine line of the illustration can be presented in a very tactile way, combining laser cutting, embossing, with a touch of colored hot stamp, to make such beautiful work of art.
